3 Injuries In Multi-Vehicle Crash On LaGrange: Police
Frankfort Police Department alerted motorists Tuesday to a crash on Route 45 between Laraway Road and Nebraska Street.

FRANKFORT, IL — Frankfort Police Department reported a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday on LaGrange Road that resulted in three people with injuries being sent to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
The crash happened at approximately 6:17 a.m., Frankfort Police Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan said. A 2006 Chevy 2500 Crew Cab pickup truck pulling a trailer was traveling southbound near the 21600 block of LaGrange Road, where the road merges from two lanes into one. A 2011 Chrysler Town and Country van attempted to merge in front of the pickup truck from the outside lane and clipped the front of the pickup, Keegan said. The van lost control, traveled into the northbound lane of LaGrange Road and was struck head on by a 2011 Chevy Silverado C1500 pickup truck, according to Keegan.

Two people in Chevy Silverado were taken to Silver Cross Hospital with leg injuries, Keegan said. The driver of the van, who was the only person in the vehicle, was also taken to Silver Cross with a back injury. No injuries were reported for the driver Chevy 2500 Crew Cab, who was the only person in the vehicle, Keegan said.
