Frankfort Swears In New Police Officer
Frankfort Police Officer Elissa Cappelletti was sworn in during Monday's Village Board meeting.

FRANKFORT, IL — At the Frankfort Village Board meeting on Monday, Frankfort Police Officer Elissa Cappelletti was sworn in.
Mayor Keith Ogle said Cappelletti grew up in Tinley Park and graduated from Andrew High School. She earned an Associate's degree in criminal justice from Moraine Valley.
"From a young age, Elissa aspired to become a police officer, a dream that was fostered by watching police shows with her mother," Ogle said.

She has previously worked as a detention aide and a part-time police officer at the Orland Park Police Department.
Wanting a full-time career, Cappelletti joined the Frankfort Police Department in April, and has now completed her field training requirements.

"It's always an honor, and it's a privilege to swear in officers," Ogle said.
