Frankfort Teen Sinks Half-Court Shot, Wins College Tuition
The Ball State University freshman sunk a half-court short and won a free semester of tuition.

Frankfort resident Markus Burden made Ball State University history last Thursday night when he sank a half-court basket and won free tuition for a semester, reports the Sun-Times Media.
The 18-year-old freshman was the first person to ever make the shot in the school's history. He swooshed it on the third and final shot—instantly winning $11,084 worth of education in pursuit of his business degree.
“I couldn’t believe I made it. I was going crazy,” Burden said in a Sun-Times Media interview. “I keep hearing that I’m going to get a call from the basketball coach.”
