Heart Attack Suspected in Tinley Man's Deadly Frankfort Crash

Warren Petrie, 66, was driving near 80th Avenue and Barbara Lane when a medical emergency might have caused him to crash his car into a fence, according to reports.

A Tinley Park resident died Sunday afternoon after crashing his car into a fence in Frankfort, according to CBS News Chicago.

At around 2:20 p.m., Warren Petrie, 66, of the 18200 block of Pheasant Drive, suffered an apparent heart attack before crashing his car into a fence around near 80th Avenue and Barbara Lane. Emergency crews transported Petrie to St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields where he was pronounced dead at 3:12 p.m., CBS News reports.

An autopsy is scheduled Monday.
