Huge Pop-Up Sale Of Used Kids' Clothing, Toys Coming To Frankfort

FRANKFORT, IL — Shoppers on the hunt for bargains on gently used kids' clothing and other items will have plenty to browse at a massive pop-up sale in Frankfort April 26–28.

The Kid's Closet Connection of Will County's spring sale, featuring tens of thousands of children's items tagged at 60 to 90 percent off retail price, comes to Roma Sports Club, 9115 Roma Ct. Items will span from birth through teen years. Inventory will include clothes, shoes, sports equipment, electronics, furniture, books, toys, games, maternity items, car seats, strollers, bikes, and more, the organizers shared. A "mom and dad" corner will feature sports items for adults, including workout clothes, yoga mats, and other sports items.

"We have over 200 local families consigning with us, and they’ve tagged over 40,000 items so far—a few days to go!" owners Michelle Engler-Brooks and Ann Potorti told Patch.

Organizers share a live stream via Facebook each morning before the sale opens, for a sneak peek of items available. Items not sold are donated to My Joyful Heart & Morning Star Mission, the owners said. Local vendors will also be on-site promoting their own businesses.

"Grab a wagon and a friend and come shop for all your kiddo’s summer needs!" owners said.

Admission to the sale is free; hours are Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Sunday is half-off day, as well.

A "Savvy Shopper" pre-sale from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday is expected to sell out, but limited tickets are still available. Tickets for that pre-sale event can be found online.
