Lincoln-Way Marching Band To Host Community Night Saturday
The event is scheduled to take place at Lincoln-Way East High School.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Lincoln-Way Marching Band is scheduled to host its Community Night Saturday at Lincoln-Way East High School, 201 Colorado Ave. in Frankfort. Gates will open at 6 p.m., and the band will take the field at 7 p.m.
The band will debut its 2021 competitive show. The event is free for all ages. The band will also be selling food and spirit wear.
The Lincoln-Way March Band has been selected to preform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City Nov. 25. The LWMB was scheduled to be at the parade in 2020, but the pandemic pushed the band's appearance until this year. The band has previously preformed at the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California in 2019.
