Missing Man Safe, Returned Home: Frankfort Police

Frankfort police earlier this week were asking for the public's help in locating a man reported missing from the area.

FRANKFORT, IL — A man reported missing after being last seen in Frankfort Monday has safely returned home as of Thursday, Frankfort police said.

Frankfort Police were asking for the public's help in locating the man. The 29-year-old Black man, described as 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 210 pounds was reported missing Monday. The man was described as having brown hair and hazel eyes, and was last wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark jogger pants, and carrying a gray backpack.

He was last seen on foot in the area of Laraway and 80th Avenue in Frankfort, at 12 p.m. on April 8, police said on Wednesday. Police were concerned for his safety, as he has a condition that places him in danger, police said.

The man was reported as safely at home on Thursday.
