More Burglaries Of Unlocked Vehicles in Frankfort

Citations issued by and reports made to Frankfort police from April 15-21.

FRANKFORT, IL — The following information is from the Frankfort Police Department unless otherwise noted. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

LEAVING ACCIDENT SCENE

Duron D. McWright, 31, of the 900 block of Fiesta Court, University Park, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a valid license, driving without insurance and improper lane use following a traffic stop at 3 a.m. April 15 near Center Road and Industry Avenue. McWright's next court date is May 3.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

A resident in the 22500 block of Parkview Lane reported someone trying to break in to a locked vehicle at about 8 p.m. April 17.

VEHICLE BURGLARIES

Frankfort police received two reports of burglaries of unlocked vehicles April 18. The first burglary happened at around 2 p.m. in the 11400 block of Tea Tree Lane. A second burglary happened at 6:30 p.m. in the 8100 block of Parkview Lane.
