Parent-Community Forum Planned At Frankfort Library

The forum will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the Frankfort Library, 21119 Pfeiffer Road.

FRANKFORT, IL — Local organization Gr2IT will host a State of Our Youth community-parent forum in Frankfort from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 at the Frankfort Library, 21119 Pfeiffer Road.

The panel at the parent-community forum will address topics like self-regulation and behavior modification, coping strategies, resilience, peer pressure, and mental and physical health, according to the organization.

Panel speakers will include Syeda Ali (M.D.), Maria Malayter and Alli Cipra. Guests can submit questions anonymously to the panel online.

"We know many parents are concerned about the issues our kids are facing, especially post-COVID," the organization said in a release. "Please consider joining us for this important conversation."

Gr2IT offers social-emotional learning curriculum and "addresses modern issues for children."
