FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort has received a Public Works Project of the Year award from the American Public Works Association Chicago Metro Chapter, Mayor Keith Ogle shared during Tuesday's Board meeting.

The award is for the Pfeiffer Road extension, which was finished last summer. The project won the award in the transportation category (under $5 million).

"We're very excited," Ogle said, adding that the extension was part of the Village's comprehensive plan.
