Two Tobacco-Selling Stores in Frankfort Fined $250 for Selling to a Minor
The Village of Frankfort held a administrative hearing for two retail outlets that got selling tobacco to minors.

Two stores in Frankfort were at risk of losing their licenses to sell tobacco in the village. They were caught selling tobacco to minors.
The stores were identified as Frankfort Tobacco, Inc., located at 21176 S. LaGrange Road, and Atlas Indiana 821, located at 16 East Lincoln Highway.
Mary Canino, community relations director for the Village of Frankfort, said hearing officials did not revoke their licenses. However the two were fined $250 each and ordered to review and enforce employee training about selling tobacco and requiring proof of age.

The administrative hearings were held at Village Hall. Mayor Jim Holland and Frankfort Police Chief John Burica.
