Win Prizes For Helping Clean Up Frankfort April 23

Volunteers can win gift cards for most trash collected, as well as for largest item, strangest item and dirtiest volunteer.

FRANKFORT, IL — The Village of Frankfort is adding some extra incentives to get residents to help clean up the village during its Earth Day/Arbor Day event: Volunteers will get the chance to win gift cards for their trash-hunting efforts.

Multiple gift cards for $25 each will be awarded for collecting the largest single item of trash, the strangest item collected and the "dirtiest volunteer," according to the Village.

But that's not all. Whoever fills the most trash bags will win a $100 gift card, according to the Village. Individuals or groups fewer than 10 can compete for that prize.
