Woman Attacked At CD&ME: Police
A woman was attacked in a bathroom Thursday at CD&ME in Frankfort.
FRANKFORT, IL — A 41-year-old woman was attacked in a bathroom Thursday at CD&ME, an event venue in Frankfort, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office.
The woman told police she was attacked by an unknown woman over a dispute about a sweater, according to police. A witness captured the fight on a cell phone and shared that footage with the Will County Sheriff's Department, police said. The attacker was not on the scene when officers arrived, police said.
The woman was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox for a bloody nose and a fat lip, according to police.

The woman was told to contact the Will County Sheriff’s Office if she could identify the attacker in order to press charges.
The event venue was hosting a '90s cover band concert Sept. 30, according to a post on the venue's website. Patch has reached out to CD&ME for comment, but has not been able to reach anyone there.
