BATAVIA, IL — All eyes were on the mayoral race in Geneva, where longtime incumbent Kevin Burns appears to have clinched another term over challenger Karsten Pawlik, unofficial results show. But voters also cast their ballots for new City Council representatives.

One four-year aldermanic seat in each of Geneva's five wards as well as a two-year term in Ward 5 will also be up for election Tuesday. Only three races in the 3rd, 4th and 5th wards were contested.
