Crissey Avenue Is Down To 1 Lane In Geneva
The road closure comes as AT&T is beginning to install a gas main in Geneva, officials said.
GENEVA, IL — Crissey Avenue was reduced to one lane beginning Thursday as AT&T installs a gas main, city officials said.
The lane closures will start south of State Street and are expected to last until Dec. 22-23, weather depending.
Construction will occur during daytime hours, according to the city. The full traffic pattern will be temporarily restored each evening before being closed again during the day.

AT&T's contractor posted signage and installed flaggers to direct drivers through the area.
Utility work by AT&T and Nicor Gas continues on the east- and westbound lanes of State Street.
