Accused Knife-Wielding Geneva Burglar Denies Charges
A 43-year-old man charged with armed violence and residential burglary appeared in court this week.
A Geneva man who was indicted last month on counts of armed violence, aggravated battery and residential burglary is reportedly denying all charges.
Prosecutors say Ronald D. Anderson, 43, was the culprit in a March 18 incident in which he wore a mask while trying to break into a Cape Way garage, reported The Chicago Tribune.
"Anderson had a utility knife and charged at the homeowner who confronted him, according to prosecutors," the story says. "The homeowner suffered multiple cuts which required medical attention."
