GENEVA, IL — Incumbent Mayor Kevin Burns is poised to secure his seventh term as mayor of Geneva, according to unofficial voting results from the Kane County Clerk's Office.

Challenger Karsten Pawlik, a 24-year resident and construction professional, appears to have failed to unseat Geneva's longest-serving mayor in Tuesday's consolidated election.
