Geneva native makes dean’s list at Carthage College

Eleni Salas, a student from Geneva, was named to the spring 2024 dean’s list at Carthage College. A nursing major, Salas graduated from Batavia High School in 2022.

The dean’s list includes students whose grade point average was 3.5 or above while earning at least 12 graded credits during the term. The honor recognizes students whose academic work is of superior quality.

Geneva student named to University of Rhode Island dean’s list

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that Olivia Amaya of Geneva has been named to the Spring 2024 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries.

To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.

Local student named to Harding University dean’s list

Logan Ieler, a senior studying biochemistry and molecular biology, is among more than 1,300 Harding University students recognized for their academic excellence from grades achieved during the Spring 2024 semester.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
