Local student makes Wisconsin Lutheran College dean’s list

William Tucholski, of Geneva, a senior at Wisconsin Lutheran College, has been named to the college's Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. William is a graduate of Geneva Community High School.

To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.6 or higher.

University of Mississippi Announces Fall 2024 Dean's Honor Roll

The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. The following local students were named to the Dean's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74:

• Ashley Marquardt, of Geneva, IL, in the B.A.Ed. in Elementary Education program.
• Tea Mathias, of Geneva, IL, in the B.A.J. in Journalism program.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

University of Mississippi Announces Fall 2024 Dean's Chancellor’s Roll

Ava Pearl Myszkowski, of Geneva, was named to the University of Mississippi's Fall 2024 Honor Roll lists.

Myszkowski, in the B.B.A. in General Business program, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.

"The remarkable students achieving Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition."

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

Lewis University Honors Local Students on 2024 Fall Dean's List

Just over 1,700 students were honored on the Lewis University Dean's List for the 2024 Fall Semester. To be eligible for this honor, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a grade point average of at least 3.5 and with no "D" or "F" grades.

• Ryan Leake of Geneva (60134) is studying Aviation Flight Technology.
• Leah Palmer of Geneva (60134) is studying Exercise Science.
• Daniela Giacopelli of Geneva (60134) is studying Aviation Flight Technology.
