MSOE announces spring 2023 graduates
Ted Simpson, from Geneva, graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Spring 2023. Simpson received a Bachelor of Science in BioMolecular Engineering with Honors.

Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or above are listed as having graduated with "High Honors." Undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA between 3.20 and 3.69 are listed as having graduated with "Honors."

Geneva student wins Paper Anvil Award
Phoebe Lyons of Geneva was part of a University of Nebraska-Lincoln team recognized during the Nebraska chapter of the Public Relations Society of America's Paper Anvil Awards Dec. 7 in Omaha.
Lyons, a sophomore majoring in advertising and public relations, was part of the UNL chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America team that won an award of excellence in the PRSSA chapter project category for the "I Love My Dog Expo" community service project.
Four Husker teams won awards during the annual gala. The 2023 Bateman Case Study Competition team won an award of merit. Jacht Agency won seven awards of merit. An advertising and public relations campaigns class won best of show and three awards of excellence, and the UNL chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America won an award of excellence.
"These awards highlight our students' outstanding work and dedication to pursuing excellence in public relations," said Brian Hubbard, assistant professor of practice and co-chair of the College of Journalism and Mass Communications' student competitions committee. "We are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's rapidly evolving media landscape, and these awards are a testament to the success of our program."

Christmas Festival includes Geneva student
In December, Liam Karth participated in the 149th Christmas Festival at Carthage College in the magnificent A. F. Siebert Chapel in Kenosha.
Karth, from Geneva, is a member of the Carthage Chorale.

Dean's list honor at Lee University awarded to Geneva student
Lee University congratulates Olivia Montalto of Geneva on earning dean's list honors during the fall 2023 semester.
Dean's List recognition is earned by full-time, undergraduate students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.00.

Bob Jones University president’s list names Geneva student
Deeanna Perry, a Senior Public Health/Global Health major from Geneva, was among approximately 680 Bob Jones University students named to the Fall 2023 President's List.
The President's List recognizes students who earn a 3.75 or higher grade point average for the semester.
