More than 870 undergraduate students have been named to Eastern Illinois University’s Spring 2023 Deans' List.

The Deans’ List at EIU recognizes undergraduates with a declared major whose academic performance has been excellent. Students who achieve a GPA of 3.80 to 4.00 (on a 4.00 scale) while completing a minimum of 12 graded semester hours, excluding credit/no credit grades, in a fall or spring semester will be named to the list.

Geneva student graduates from Emerson College
Emerson College awarded approximately 1,058 undergraduate degrees during the 143rd Commencement at Agganis Arena in Boston, MA on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
Mary Kassel of Geneva, IL 60134 received a BA in Media Arts Production.

Local student named to dean's list at Georgia Tech
Sean Chalmers of Geneva, IL, made the Dean's List for the Spring 2023 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Student from Geneva graduated from University of Tampa
Peter Ralston, of Geneva, graduated from The University of Tampa on Saturday, May 6. Ralston graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management BS.
The commencement ceremony included 1,525 undergraduate and graduate candidates. The ceremony included remarks by President Ronald Vaughn, Jeff Drushal from the class of 1989, the Honorable Jane Castor from the class of 1981 and the student challenge speaker.
