Coronavirus: Geneva Healthcare Facility Seeks Meal Donations

Donations would need to be comprised of 40 grab-and-go meals, which are enough to feed a shift at Bria of Geneva.

GENEVA, IL — Kitchen staff and team members at Bria of Geneva, a 107-bed independent living, assisted living and short-term inpatient rehabilitation facility at 1101 East State Street, are looking for a morale boost during the coronavirus pandemic. For the last week, Bria's kitchen staff members have been providing the entire team with sack lunches, and are now looking for donations of breakfast, lunch or dinner meals.

According to an email sent to Patch, donations would need to be comprised of 40 grab-and-go meals, which are enough to feed a shift.

Staff also told Patch donations would lighten the day for the kitchen staff and be a morale boost if there are restaurants or catering businesses that would like to support Bria staff during this unprecedented healthcare challenge, and added that not having to worry about lunch does simplify the day and is also a morale boost.
