GENEVA, IL — Garbage rates are set to increase again, effective July 1, per Geneva's contract with its waste collector, Lakeshore Recycling Systems.

Stickers will increase in price from $4.13 to $4.32, and the cost for optional garbage cart subscriptions will also go up by $1 per billing cycle. Twenty-gallon bags will cost $2.73, and 65-gallon yard waste carts will be $174.72 annually.

Residents who purchased stickers at the current rate can use their remaining supply without paying the difference, officials said.
