Geneva High Senior to Perform on 'American Idol'

Kayla Mickelsen, a senior at Geneva High School, will be living her dreams as the 15th and final contestant on “American Idol.”

Judge Harry Connick, Jr., gave her the nod at her San Francisco audition.

“I like you a lot,” he said. “Nice job.”

Mickelsen, who works at Graham’s 318 and Nobel House in Geneva, describes herself as a “weird, nature-loving, energetic vegan.”
