Geneva Park District Shares Free Concerts In July Lineup
The free concerts will take place Wednesday nights in River Park during July.
GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Park District announced Friday the 2019 Concerts in the Park lineup for Wednesdays in July. According to a release, the free concerts will take place at 7 p.m. in River Park, 151 N. River Lane, located on the west side of the Fox River, just north of Route 38 (ADA accessible). Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy food that will be available on site from Deane’s Market and Deli, in addition to a beer tent featuring local brews from Solemn Oath Brewery, the release said.
The park district said parking is available on the street and in nearby city parking lots.

- July 10, June’s Got the Cash: A musical tribute to American Country Music icons Johnny Cash and June Carter. "All shows are scripted with classic country comedy bits, historical stories, vintage costumes and songs performed from Cash’s hit collection of music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and more!"
- July 17, The Saturday June Band: For two decades, Saturday June (aka Steve Kessler) has been rocking Chicago. The current incarnation of The Saturday June Band features the Jami Dawn with vocals, Steve Woods on keyboard, Joe Richards playing bass, and the rhythm of Doc Jay Burstein and Dan Lazarus. "The band plays with an infectious enthusiasm that draws in the listener and makes them want to get out there and dance to the Rock, Classic Rock, Indie, Alternative, Pop, Oldies, and New Wave songs they know so well!"
- July 24, Mr. Myers: "Mr. Myers blends the sounds of calypso and ska, the rhythms of reggae, and a touch of rock and roll with some favorite tunes to create their own special style of music- Caribbean Rock." His music features features "wailing sax, searing rock guitar, colorful steel drums, powerful percussion and strong vocal."
- July 31, The StingRays: The StingRays play the greatest rock classics ever written from the 50s, 60s and 70s "with the energy, passion, and authenticity of the artists they love."
