GENEVA, IL — After pausing for winter, the Kautz Road widening project is underway again.

Geneva officials said work is “slowly resuming” as of Thursday. Efforts are being directed to the bike trail and parkway restoration.

The contractor expects to schedule the final road resurfacing within the next two weeks, weather permitting. There will be intermittent lane closures with flaggers directing traffic, but the road will remain open, and drivers should expect potential delays.
