Results Released From Kane County Sheriff Thanksgiving Enforcement
Deputies issued 22 tickets during its Thanksgiving traffic safety campaign from Nov. 22 to Dec. 2.
KANE COUNTY, IL — The Kane County Sheriff's Office released Friday the results from its Thanksgiving enforcement, revealing the department netted 22 citations and one arrest.
From Nov. 22 and Dec. 2, the sheriff's office conducted a "Click It or Ticket" and "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" traffic safety campaign to remind drivers to buckle up and drive sober in an effort to reduce crashes.

- 6 seat belt citations
- 6 traffic-related citations
- 1 electronic device use citation
- 1 traffic-related arrest
The enforcement period was paid for using federal traffic safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
