Backyard BBQ Features More Than 40 Teams At Duane Street Metra Lot
Glen Ellyn's Backyard BBQ will celebrate 16 years with more than three dozen competing teams, live music and more in a new location.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — More than 40 teams are set to compete in the 16th Annual Glen Ellyn Backyard BBQ, which will be held Sept. 7 in a brand-new location — the Duane Street Metra parking lot.
In addition to fare from the fest's famous amateur barbecuing contest, food and drink will be available for purchase from other vendors.
Attendees can enjoy live music throughout the fest. The performance schedule is as follows.

- 2 p.m.: Panic at the Costco
- 3:30 p.m.: The Markus Alan Project
- 5 p.m.: EP8
- 7:15 p.m.: Amy Kelly and The Beaver Moon Band
Mary Macaroni will play kids' music in the event's children's area.
