The College of DuPage football team is treading where few have gone before. On Saturday, December 7. the Chaparrals brought home their fourth NJCAA championship in four years, joining only three other college football teams in that endeavor.

The Chaparrals opened quickly, taking a 24-7 halftime lead over the Hurricanes (8-3). Defenses on both teams set the pace in the second half, with COD and Louisburg trading touchdown, resulting in a 31-14 College of DuPage victory.
