Deadline For Leaf Collection Extended In Glen Ellyn
Glen Ellyn residents have a little more time to unload the leaves they've collected throughout the fall of 2021.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — As hard as it might be to accept, fall is almost over and winter is right around the corner. Glen Ellyn residents now have a bit of extra time to get rid of leaves that have fallen in their yards, as the village has extended its leaf collection deadline until Dec. 13.
Typically, residents can only use leaf collection stickers in October and November. This year's extension aims to make up for a delayed leaf drop in 2021, per a news release from the village.
Residents must use a 33-gallon Kraft paper bag with stickers affixed to ensure their leaves will be collected. Leaf stickers are available for $1.70 apiece at the following locations:
