Get Coronavirus Booster, Flu Shots At Clinic In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn residents can get coronavirus booster shots and flu shots at an upcoming clinic at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center, presented by Rep. Terra Costa.

At the clinic, slated for Dec. 11 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., free coronavirus booster shots will be available from Pfizer and Moderna. A limited number of Johnson and Johnson booster vaccine doses will be on hand.

Those who get their booster shots at the event should bring their coronavirus vaccination card or another form of proof that they received their vaccinations at least six months prior to the clinic. Patients should also bring their drivers licenses, state identification cards and health insurance cards.

A charge will apply for flu shots, though patients on a PPO insurance plan or Medicare will have no out-of-pocket costs. Patients who don't have health insurance can get a voucher from DuPage Health Coalition to cover the cost of the vaccine.
