Gingerbread House Contest Kicks Off At Lombard Historical Society

LOMBARD, IL — The Lombard Historical Society recently kicked off its Gingerbread House Contest for the 2024 season, inviting residents to craft their own sweet structures for a chance to win prizes.

Two categories are available for entry, one for adults who are 18 and older, and one for children who are younger than 18 years old. The deadline to enter is Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.

Participants must use their own materials to make a gingerbread house that is no bigger than 12 inches by 12 inches. Voting is set to take place Dec. 7 at the Lombard Historical Society's Jingle Bell Jubilee. On Dec. 11, winning entries will be notified via email or phone, with the entries shared on social media.
