Glen Ellyn Senior Living Facility Ranked Among Best In Country: Study

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Brookdale Glen Ellyn was recently named among the Best Senior Living communities in the United States by U.S. News & World Report.

The study evaluated more than 3,800 senior living communities throughout the country for the 2025 roundup. Of these, 313 senior communities were ranked among the nation's best, using feedback culled from some 450,000 residents and family members.

In its evaluation of Brookdale Glen Ellyn, U.S. News & World Report gave the facility an overall score of 4.6 out of 5. The community received high rankings for its value, safety, staff and management, and for its ability to "feel like home."

One survey responder said Brookdale was "a good place to meet others and hear their stories."

Another survey responder wrote, "We truly felt a sense of warmth and family during my mother's one-year stay on the Assisted Living Floor. We were only supposed to be there for a 90-day rehab stay, which turned into a full year. Throughout the stay, we experienced nothing but support and understanding of our unique situation and we truly felt that everyone there had mom's and our family's best interest as their priority of care and hospitality. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming. Management, if they were walking around, always said hello to us."

One resident shared, "Brookdale Glen Ellyn has an exceptionally welcoming, friendly, helpful staff, and the residents seem to pick up on that and it becomes their behavior as well. I'm impressed with this, and it has made living here pleasant, comfortable, and peaceful. I highly recommend Brookdale, Glen Ellyn as a superior senior living community."

Another resident shared, "More than one of my fellow resident’s have commented, 'living here is almost like being on a cruise ship. 'And I fully agree."
