Halloween Festival And Parade, Downtown Trick-Or-Treating Planned For Oct. 25

Glen Ellyn's annual Halloween Festival and Parade returns on Oct. 25.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn's annual Halloween Parade and Festival will be held Oct. 25.

The event invites costumed kids, parents, pups and other costumed creatures to march in the parade, which will be led by the Glenbard West Drumline. The parade will step off from the intersection of Crescent and Main at 9:45 a.m. Parade staging starts at 9:30 a.m. in the Glenwood Station parking lot.

The parade will head east on Main before turning north on Forest Avenue. From forest, the parade will turn westward on Pennsylvania before to Crescent via Main Street.

After the parade comes to a close at Main Street, kids can take part in Halloween-themed games and arts and crafts. The festival continues until 12 p.m., giving attendees plenty of time to go trick-or-treating at local businesses or compete in the event's costume contest.
