Kickstart Spring Cleaning At Recycling Extravaganze In Glen Ellyn
Residents can unload electronics, bikes, books, records and more at the 2025 Recycling Extravaganza on April 26.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents can lug their books, bikes, electronic items and more to College of DuPage on April 26 for the 2025 Recycling Extravaganza.
The event will be held in parking lot 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include a donation drive for Glen House Food Pantry.
Many of the recyclable items will be donated to local organizations including SCARCE, Lions Club and Cub Scout Pack 32 to be repurposed.

Below is a list of items that will be accepted at the Recycling Extravaganza.

- Books
- Canes and crutches
- CPAP equipment
- Durable medical equipment
- Electronics
- Glasses
- Hearing aids
- Holiday lights
- Inkjet cartridges
- Keys
- Musical instruments
- Oxygen equipment
- Records
- Walkers
- Wheelchairs

- Latex paint: $3 per quart, $6 per gallon, $20 per bucket
- Monitors and TVs: $20
- Oil-based paints: $6 per quart, $10 per gallon, $26 per bucket
- Smoke detectors: $11 via credit card
