Massive, Mid-Year Recycling Event Planned In Glen Ellyn
Residents can unload anything from clothing to electronics to furniture at the July 26 recycling event.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Four organizations will be on hand at the Glen Ellyn Park District's Mid-Year Recycling Event, where residents will be able to donate clothing, electronics, furniture and other unwanted items to be repurposed. Most items will be accepted without fees.
The event will be held July 26 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in parking lot six at the College of DuPage.

- Bookshelves
- Car keys
- Chairs
- Coffee tables
- Computer monitors ($20 fee)
- Couches
- Pillowcases
- Records
- Tables
- Televisions ($20 fee)
- Ink cartridges
- Lights
- Wooden puzzles
Items must be clean, dry and free of rips, stains and other damage. The onsite organizations are SCARCE, RewearAble, Sharing Connections and Junk Luggers.
