In Memory Of Noel Spencer Price, 87

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Noel Spencer Price, 87, of Oceanside, CA, formerly of Green Valley, AZ, and Wheaton, IL, passed away on November 29, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sue, and daughters April (Don) Cook of Batavia, IL, and Dianne (Bill) Hatley of Oceanside, CA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Cheryl Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minor and Malvina Price, brother Brent Price and daughter Jill Price.

Noel attended Illinois Institute of Technology and Montana State University, studying engineering in both. Noel was a Veteran, serving honorably in the U.S. Navy submarine service for 13 years. Leaving rank was a Quartermaster First Class (SS). Noel was a registered Professional Engineer in Chicago for 40 years, retiring as Vice President of R.G. Burkhardt & Associates.

Noel was born on November 2, 1936 in Oak Park, IL. He married Sue on July 29, 1961, and together they raised three girls together in Wheaton. He adored his beloved Saint Bernard dogs, Brandy and Chauncey, and many cats over the years. Noel was a talented woodworker, enjoyed sailing his S2 on Lake Michigan, and enjoying biking with friend, Jim, across the entire U.S. from coast to coast. Noel and Sue travelled extensively, from New Zealand to Fiji, Europe to Russia and beyond.

Noel was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.

His ashes will be interred in the family plot in Glen Ellyn, IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any remembrances be made to The Animal League of Green Valley. 1600 W Duval Mine Rd. Green Valley AZ 85614.
