New Offerings Aim To Make This Farmers Market 'Bigger And Better'

This year, the weekly farmers market at Naper Settlement will offer a brand-new option for visitors to enjoy.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The farmers market at Naper Settlement will return to kick off its 2025 season on July 1. This year, the weekly Tuesday market will offer a new feature: classes that include soap making, herb storage, cooking demos and more.

The hour-long classes will begin at 5 p.m.

“The Naper Settlement Farmers Market will be even bigger and better than last year, offering a vast array of fresh local produce and handmade goods paired with an exciting lineup of live music and educational offerings,” Event Sponsorship Team Lead Nicole Hays said in a statement.

The market will feature more than 30 vendors offering fresh produce, handmade soaps and other goods, locally made honey and other items.

Food trucks will also be on hand to give visitors something to snack on. The roster includes Umbrella Azul, Hello Boba and Billy Bricks.

Local bands will play live acoustic and bluegrass music from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. from the porch of the settlement's Paw Paw Post Officer.

The Farmers Market will take place every Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. through Sept. 23.

Hays added, “Visitors can shop knowing they’re directly contributing to the local economy and fostering a sense of community spirit. Whether shopping for goods, listening to live musicians, or participating in an educational class, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Naper Settlement Farmers Market.”
