Eleanor Pollack, long-time resident of Salem, Wisconsin, and Glen Ellyn, Illinois, passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 2021, at the age of 90 at Rock Run Memory Care Assisted Living in Joliet, Illinois.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Pollack. Eleanor is survived by her son, Frank (Jane) Pollack; her sister, Vicky (Jim) Scolari; grandmother of Kenneth (Joanne) Pollack and Jaime (Tim Barstow) Pollack; great-grandmother of Hailey, Nathan, Tim, Jackie and Justin; great-great-grandmother of C.J., Emma, Grace, Abbie, Vivian and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wasile and Blanche Dulceak; her son, Charles “Chuck” Pollack; her brothers, Constantine, George and Peter Dulceak.

She worked hard all her life and took care of her family. Taking into her home, anyone (family or not) who needed a place to live. She was a volunteer on the Library Committee and the Lake Committee in Salem where she resided for 30 years. Eleanor loved her family, made friends easily and was always there to lend a helping hand. If there was a party, she was there with bells on!
