Over $3K Raised During Glow In The Park Lantern Walk In Glen Ellyn
Funds from the event will benefit the neonatal intensive care unit at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — More than $3,000 was raised to benefit the neonatal intensive care unit at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital during the Glow in the Park Lantern Walk in Glen Ellyn.
The Sept. 12 event took place Sept. 12 at Lake Ellyn Park and featured live music from Tres Moustache. Kids who attended enjoyed an inflatable obstacle course, face painting and a bubble show. Participants were able to decorate their own lanterns for the walk.
In total, the event raised $3,438 via lantern purchases and donations.
