Paczki Day In Glen Ellyn: Flavors, Preorder Info, More

GLEN ELLYN, IL — It's that time of year again: time to indulge in the deep-fried, sweet tooth-sating Polish pastries known as paczki. This year, Paczki Day falls on Feb. 13, 2024, and bakeries in and around Glen Ellyn are taking orders to help satisfy paczki cravings throughout the area.

Here's where to find paczki in Glen Ellyn for Paczki Day 2024. Keep in mind that some bakeries will require pre-orders for you to pin down your preferred paczki. Others may have a limited amount on hand for walk-ins on March 4.

Vanilla Sugar Bakery

540 Duane St., Glen Ellyn

Vanilla Sugar Bakery is taking paczki pre-orders and accepting walk-ins in 2024 until they run out of the sugary. The bakery's creative paczki flavors include banana cream pie and Nutella cream-filled.

Kirsten's Danish Bakery
94 Burr Ridge Parkway, Burr Ridge

The inventive paczki flavors at Kirsten's include chocolate, maple bacon, and Oreo.

DeEtta's Bakery

428 W. 5th Ave., Naperville
DeEtta's is taking pre-orders of six or more paczki until March 2 at 12 p.m., but they also plan to have plenty of paczki in store on Paczki Day. Flavors include cheese, blueberry, apricot and whipped cream with fresh strawberries.

Sylvia's
8117 Cass Ave., Darien
The Paczki Day festivities at Sylvia's last nearly a week, with bakers whipping up the sweet treats daily starting Feb. 27 and ending March 3. Their scrumptious flavors run the gamut from pineapple and poppyseed to butter kreme and peanut butter and jelly.
