Pets of the Week: Kudos for Sake
Every week we share information on adoptable pets waiting for homes at area animal shelters.
Every week we bring you pets looking for homes at area rescue groups. This week the pets are from DuPage County Animal Care and Control.
Sake
Sake came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control because his owner had allergies. He is very sweet and calm 6 to 7-year-old. He was in a home with older children and did well. He also gets along with other animals. Sake loves to play with toys and enjoys being outside (which is unusual for a little doggie). He is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. During his veterinary exam it was discovered that Sake has a heart murmur. He does not need any treatment for it at this time, but we do recommend he monitored regularly by a veterinarian.
Kudos
Kudos came to DuPage County Animal Care and Control because his owner passed away. He is 7-9 years old, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Kudos looks like he has a bad haircut, but it’s only because he had a cyst on his head removed. Since coming to the shelter, Kudos had been very scared. A lot has happened to him in a short period of time and he seems to need some love. He would probably do best in a quiet home. We will give kudos to the family that is willing to show Kudos the love he needs.
