Rock Your Socks Drive To Benefit People's Resource Center

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Park District is doing its part to raise awareness about Down Syndrome by taking part in the Rock Your Socks Collection Drive.

Residents can bring donations of socks that are new and unused to the Spring Avenue Recreation Center or Ackerman SFC through March 31. The park district will donate the collected socks to People's Resource Center.

Rock Your Socks coincides with World Down Syndrome Day, which falls on March 21. The event encourages people to wear bold, brightly colored socks that don't match in an effort to spark more awareness of and conversations about Down Syndrome.
