Stephanides Named Village Attorney For Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Paul L. Stephanides has been appointed as the new village attorney for Glen Ellyn. Set to begin July 22, Stephanides joins the village after serving as Oak Park's village attorney for a decade.

“Glen Ellyn was seeking an experienced attorney to work closely with the Village Board and management team to assist with a wide variety of community projects,” Village Manager Mark Franz said in a statement. “Paul is very excited about working with this experienced team, continuing the success of Glen Ellyn and contributing to its growth.”

Stephanides brings to the role experience with litigation, real estate, zoning, labor law, election law and other relevant areas of focus.

An alum of DePaul University, Stephanides earned his law degree there, along with undergraduate degrees in political science and economics.

Stephanides replaces current village attorney Greg Mathews, recently headed into retirement.
