Proceeds from the April 10 game's shirt sale will benefit Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in memory of Simon Nabeti, who died in 2024.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — A fundraiser volleyball game will be held April 10 to honor Simon Nabeti, a Hadley Junior High School student who died in 2024. Proceeds from t-shirts sold for the game, which features a showdown between Glendbard West High School and Naperville Central High School, will be donated to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Nabeti was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in 2019, according to his obituary. He played football for the Golden Eagles and enjoyed camping and playing video games.
The t-shirts, which read "Simon Says Volley for a Cure," are $20 each. Click the link to buy a t-shirt.
