82-Year-Old Man Critically Injured After Car Hits Tree: Glenview PD
The man is in stable condition and was traveling on East Lake Avenue when police said his car crossed lanes of the roadway and hit a tree.

GLENVIEW, IL — An 82-year-old man remains in critical but stable condition at a local hospital after police said that he crossed across lanes of traffic on Lake Avenue and crashed into a tree, police said.
Police have not identified the driver, who was taken to Lutheran General Hospital after the crash, which took place at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday. Police were called to East Lake Avenue and Evergreen Court, where they said the man had crashed his Cadillac sedan into a tree after crossing over the eastbound lanes of traffic on East Lake Avenue while he was traveling west.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Glenview Police and the North Regional Major Crimes Task Force Major Crash Assistance Team. No further information was provided and anyone with information is asked to contact the Glenview Police Department tip line at (847) 901-6055.
