Driver Pulls Out Gun During Road Rage Incident: Glenview Police Blotter
The complainant said the driver had "brake checked" them prior to asking if they wanted to get shot.

Brendan Delaney, 20, of the 3800 block of Joanne Drive, Glenview, is accused of leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give notice of an accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 1:46 a.m. Dec. 6, following a crash investigation in the 3600 block of East Lake Avenue. He also received a Village ordinance citation for damage to public property. Delaney was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 26, 2026.
RETAIL THEFT

Nicholas Tribble, 31, of the 400 block of Lee Road, Northbrook, had a Glenview arrest warrant for retail theft, and was arrested at 7 p.m. Dec. 3, at the Lake County Jail in Waukegan. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 12, 2026.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Patrick Weber, 67, of the 3000 block of North Lake Terrace, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 1:34 p.m. Dec. 3, in the 1800 block of Harrison Street. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 18.

INCIDENTS
DISTURBANCE
Employees of a business in the 4500 block of West Lake Avenue reported at 9:58 a.m. Dec. 2, a customer was yelling at staff. The customer was asked to leave, which they complied.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
A Chicago resident reported at 5:50 p.m. Dec. 2, that they had been involved in a road rage incident in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue where a vehicle brake checked them and engaged in a verbal altercation, where the driver pointed a gun at them and asked them if they wanted to get shot. The vehicle left the area westbound on Golf Road.
HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE
Employees of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 7:54 p.m. Dec. 3, a customer had called the restaurant after being previously told on Nov. 22 to cease communication due to their hostile behavior on that date. The customer was told to no longer contact the business, or they could be arrested.
THEFT
- A Central Road resident reported at 4:01 p.m. Dec. 4, a male and two females had approached them asking for donations for a family that was a victim of gun violence. They agreed to donate and used their credit card for a donation app and gave their phone to the male to assist. They later discovered multiple unauthorized transactions and a deleted text thread on their phone from Capital One asking to authorize the transaction, which showed the person had responded via text, "yes." Total loss is $305. The victim described the male suspect as 6-foot tall, black with dreadlocks, black reading glasses, and a green winter coat. One black female black was described as 5-foot-5, with a black puffer jacket, glasses and a hat. The other female was described as 5-foot-6, with a puffy light-colored jacket and a tattoo on her neck. All three appeared to be 18 to 19 years old, according to the victim. - A Russet Way resident reported on Dec. 4 being the victim of a long-term scam, where someone identified themselves as a woman needing assistance getting her inheritance from a bank in Ghana. The resident had sent money through Zelle and wire for a total of $8,155 over several months.
- A resident of the 1400 block of Blackthorn Drive reported at 1:36 p.m. Dec. 7, several pieces of jewelry, valued at $60,000, were missing from the home.
TRESPASS WARNING
Employees of a business in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4, a customer was upset about a refund procedure and made a vague threat to employees. Officers spoke with the customer and gave them a trespass warning not to return to the store.
FORGERY
- A Glenview Road resident reported at 11:55 a.m. Dec. 5, someone had cashed a check from their bank account in Atlanta, Georgia. They also had a fraudulent charge made to their debit card in Stone Mountain, Georgia in the amount of $363.19. Total loss is $821.51.
- A Winchester Lane resident called police at 3:04 p.m. Dec. 5, to report a Chicago resident had attempted to use a forged prescription signed in their name to obtain prescription pills from a pharmacy.
IDENTITY THEFT
Employees for a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 12:39 p.m. Dec. 6, someone had come into the store and used information for an Arlington Heights resident to obtain a purchase of $1,276.45. The employee said that the Arlington Heights Police Department were investigating another ID Theft case involving the victim. Total loss is $1276.45.
LOST OR MISLAID PROPERTY
A Northfield resident called police on Dec. 9 to report five days earlier he had lost his wedding ring at Costco, 2900 Patriot Blvd.
