Miller Earns Degree At University Of Missouri

Keely Miller, of Glenview, earned her bachelor's degree in health sciences from the University of Missouri on May 17. She was also a member of the sorority Phi Mu and was president of the Mizzou Club Dance Team.

Varga Named To Dean's List At Olivet Nazarene University

Tess Varga, of Glenview, was named to the dean's list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed spring 2025 semester. To qualify for inclusion on the dean's list, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.

Nebraska Awards 3,681 Degrees In May Ceremonies

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred 3,681 degrees during commencement exercises May 3, 16 and 17. The 3,591 graduates are from 57 countries, 46 U.S. states and 250-plus Nebraska communities. A ceremony for College of Law graduates took place May 3 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts; a ceremony for students earning graduate and professional degrees occurred May 16 at Pinnacle Bank Arena; and two ceremonies for undergraduates were May 17 at the arena. Chancellor Rodney D. Bennett presided over the ceremonies. Students earning degrees from Glenview include:

• Tyler Hurst, College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Bachelor of Journalism.
• Andrew Leonard Ornduff, UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service, Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice with highest distinction.

UW-Whitewater Students Recognized In Hired Before Graduation

More than 220 students from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater were recognized for being hired or promoted by an employer, earning acceptance to graduate school, or starting their own business prior to commencement. The following UW-Whitewater students from Glenview were recognized:

• Eden Frick, who will graduate with a BSE in English & Language Arts.

Baumgartner Earns Bachelor's Degree At University Of South Florida

Jackson Baumgartner, a 2021 Glenbrook South graduate, earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida earlier this month. The degree is in Health Science, Health Information Technology (Magna Cum Laude).

Medved Named To PennWest Spring 2025 Dean's List

Pennsylvania Western University is proud to announce that Maho Medved, of Glenview, was named to the Spring 2025 Dean's List. Medved, who studies at the PennWest Online Campus, was among nearly 3,000 PennWest students recognized for outstanding academic excellence during the spring semester.

Glenview Student Louis Kramer Graduates From Albion College

Glenview student Louis Kramer recently graduated from Albion College with a degree in music education with a concentration in the Fritz Shurmur Center for Teacher Development. This degree was granted magna cum laude. The honor of magna cum laude recognizes a graduate with an overall GPA between 3.75 and 3.89. Kramer is the child of Jennifer and Kenneth Kramer of Glenview and is a graduate of Glenbrook South High School.

Ornduff To Graduate From University Honors Program At Nebraska

Andrew Ornduff, of Glenview, is among 205 University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating seniors who have completed the requirements to graduate from the University Honors Program this May. Ornduff will graduate from the UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service. To graduate from the Honors Program, students must maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average, complete a culminating senior project or research thesis, and fulfill other curricular requirements.

Mcnure Earns Degree From University Of Maryland Global Campus

Charles Mcnure, of Glenview, earned a Master of Science President's List in Cyber Operations from University of Maryland Global Campus in winter 2025. To qualify for the prestigious President's List at UMGC, students must have graduated with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 4.0. Mcnure was one of nearly 900 students who earned degrees from UMGC in the winter 2025 term.
