Driver Going 20+ MPH Over Limit on Milwaukee Charged with DUI

Warrant Arrest

Omar Munoz, 21, of the 6400 block of N. Washtenaw Ave. in Chicago, was arrested in the 2300 block of Ridge Dr. on a warrant from the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department Oct. 14. He was turned over to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Department.

Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License

Cesar Barranco, 32, of the 1600 block of Lyons in Waukegan, was arrested in the 1900 block of Lehigh Ave. at 1 a.m. Oct. 15 and charged with Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License and Using Electronic Communication Device Prohibited (cellphone law). He was released on a $1,500.00 bond and given a Nov. 4 court date.

Traffic Arrest

Furse, 21, of the 800 block of Glenshire Rd. in Glenview, was arrested in the 2700 block of Glenview Rd. at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 and charged with Speeding 26-34 MPH Over the Posted Speed Limit and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. He was released after he posted his driver’s license as bond with a Nov. 7 court date.

Theft

Nicholas Annerino, 19, of the 2100 block of Madison Cr. in Northbrook, was arrested Oct. 17 and charged with two counts of theft for an incident that occurred in the 1900 block of Landwehr Rd. Sept. 17. He was released on a $1,000 bond with a Nov. 4 court date.

Driving Under the Influence

Cheryl Woodlock, 52, of the 14600 block of Morningside Rd. in Orland Park, was arrested at Milwaukee Ave. and Greenwood Rd. at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 and charged with Driving Under the Influence-Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence-BAC .08 or More, Failure to Signal When Required and Improper Lane Usage. She was released on a $1,000 bond with a Nov. 7 court date.

Driving Under the Influence

Anupam Purohit, 34, of the 3400 block of Salem Walk in Northbrook, was arrested in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Ave. at 1:30 a.m. Oct. 17 and charged with Driving Under the Influence-Alcohol, Speeding 21-25mph Over the Posted Limit, Improper Lane Usage, and Failure to Notify Secretary of State of Address/Name Change. He was released on a $1,000 bond with a Nov. 24 court date.
