Glenview Street Closing For Metra Crossing Project: Village
The work, which is slated to begin later this month, will last approximately two weeks, according to officials.
GLENVIEW, IL — Metra plans to begin work on replacing the railroad crossing at Dewes Street later this month. According to Village officials, the work is scheduled for June 16 through June 30.
Dewes Street will be closed between Lehigh and Church during this work, and traffic will be detoured to Glenview Road. Additionally, in conjunction with this work, the Village is working to address drainage issues to eliminate ponding adjacent to the Dewes crossing.
